Quarter 2 Days 1-4

                                              Day 1

Kori updated/changed the claw part. Now it can open 180 degrees and the grip is bigger and stronger. Vikas is following instructions at a website called

                                              Day 2

Kori and Vikas a trying to design a brand new robot. Vikas is programming as usual.

           

                                              Day 3

Today Kori and Vikas are doing their usual things like designing of programming things to update or change our robot. Kori finished making the first step of the new robot.

                                             Day 4

Kori is working on the new robot. We are making significant progress. Vikas is doing the black line code but there are a couple mistakes.

                                                               Day 5

Today Kori build a new robot called the V-Rex. There is a manual on the internet to build the V-Rex.

Day 6

Today Kori and Vikas are helping each other build the V-Rex. Kori finished making the head of the Rex, so he is making the other parts.

Day 7

The head Kori made looks awesome, he is still making the body and the other parts of the V-Rex. Vikas is working on the program "Basketball Drills." 

Day 8

Kori is updating and building all the parts of the V-Rex like he did before. Vikas is working on virtual world simulations. Kori also has added rubber parts to the V-Rex.

                                              Day 9

           We continued testing our new track wheels that looks like a tank wheels. These new wheels are easier to make turns. Also it looks much cooler and it will be easier for the robot to climb different terrains. We also changed our controls from the controller. Now it is much easier for us!

                                             Day 8

         Today we changed our wheels to make it look like a tank. This makes the robot look really cool. I changed the color of the touch led to make the color red orange when it is touched and blue when it is untouched.

                                             Day 7

         I didn't know how to download the modkit program on to the brain, and realized that it was because the brain had battery. Kori was helping me download the firmware but realized that the firmware was making us downgrade.

                                             Day 6

         Bill started talking photos for this blog. Now we can have pictures for the blog. We finally finished the clawbot! Now I and going to program while Bill perhaps gets more pictures and Kori makes sure everything in the robot is in the right place or if some pieces are missing.

Days 1-5

                                                  Day 5

         I figured out that the programing software that we were going to use is called Modkit instead of RobotC. I downloaded Modkit Link and finally started programing. I thought that Kori would be the blogger now but apparently he lied to me. I think this is because he doesn't want homework. I asked Bill if he wanted to be the blogger but he just said that I should do it because I was the programmer. This didn't make much sense, and Bill wasn't doing much in class anyway!

                                                 

                                                 Day 4

         Now that I downloaded the firmware and updated all my softwares, I tried to figure out how to download the programing software. As usual Kori is building the robot and Bill is waiting to get materials for Kori.

  

                                                  Day 3

                 Today Kori was building the robot instead of Bill. Bill just sat there and waited for Kori to tell him to get parts. I started using modkit!

                                                  Day 2

         Today we tired to connect the controller to the brain of the robot. We couldn't do this because there was a slight problem with the controller. After this we made a little progress on our robot. 

                                                               

                                                   Day 1

           Today we tried to make the robot which was on the first page of the handbook. Bill was in charge of making the robot while I am in charge of making the blog until I can start programing, Kori looks bored, he just got the materials for Bill. Later Kori said to Bill to get his own material becuase Bill had the handbook and was building the robot. Bill made quite a lot of progress on the robot.
